Learn how to print in imaginative and playful ways by repurposing Tetrapak cartons, previously used for fruit juices, soups etc. You will learn how to create an image by incising a variety of lines on the inside foil surface, using the traditional printmaking technique of drypoint (scratching marks using a specialist needle). You can also tear, peel, cut, crumple and fold Tetrapak, making it a very free and versatile method of creating prints. Students will learn how to apply ink to the Tetrapak and print their images using a traditional etching press. If you enjoy experimentation, this is a great method for both beginners and more experienced printmakers to learn.
