Stella will guide you through every step of the process, including creating your design; how to mix and layer colours; carving your design onto an A5 lino block and printing it using a specialist relief press. You will create a small edition of colourful prints to take home. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
All materials provided. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Lino Print Taster Session
2 places remaining - Lino printing creates a strong and graphic image. You will learn how to translate a visual idea into a design, transfer it to a lino block, cut it safely with traditional lino tools, ink the lino and print it. Your teacher will guide you in how to use a traditional relief press which gives a consistent high quality print, although we will also cover how to continue your lino printing at home using hand printing. Lino printing enables you to make multiples of the same design and you will create a small edition of prints to take home. Suitable for beginners; experienced learners will be able to make a more complex design.
